Yars Mobile is a non-public business application intended for employees of YARS İÇ VE DIŞ TİCARET LTD. ŞTİ. (Kuruçeşme Mah. Ahmet Adnan Saygun Cad. No:69A Beşiktaş / İstanbul, Türkiye) and authorised point-of-sale staff. The app works only with user accounts created by the company; there is no public sign-up.
Data we collect and why
Account information: A company-issued e-mail address and password are used to sign in. Account information is processed to authenticate the user and determine their permissions.
Camera: Used solely to scan product barcodes and QR codes. Images are not recorded, stored or transmitted off the device; only the decoded code value is read from the camera.
Location: Captured once, only when the employee voluntarily taps "Check in" or "Check out" to record a shift. The app does not track location in the background. The captured location is used to calculate the distance to the point of sale where the record is made and is stored together with the shift record.
Business data: Information entered in the app, such as order preparation, in-store sales records and customer consultation notes, is saved to the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and used only to run business processes.
Data sharing
Collected data is not used for advertising, marketing or profiling; it is not sold to third parties and is not shared unless you consent or a legal obligation requires it. Data is stored with the company's cloud infrastructure provider (database and authentication service) over encrypted connections.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained for the duration of the business relationship and legal retention obligations. When a user account is closed, access to the app ends; users may request deletion of personal data linked to their account using the contact details below.
Children
The app is not directed at persons under 18 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
